Cabot Links Golf Resort

Not too many people have heard about this place… Maybe because they don’t live anywhere near it or just because they don’t know about it. But we want you all to know about it because it is a BUCKET List Golf Resort!

It is a 36-Hole Golf Resort located in Nova Scotia, Canada.

Cabot Links and Cabot Cliffs both were in the Top 100 World Golf Courses in 2015.

Cabot Links is a beautiful Oceanfront Landscape, Link Style Course with some Holes between the Sea and the Village of Inverness. Built on a Land that used to be a Coal Mine in the late 1800’s and early 1900’s. The Course was founded in July, 2011 and Designed by Rod Whitman.

This specific Course was Ranked #42 in the World by GolfDigest in 2014/2015; #82 in the World by Golf Magazine in 2013 and Second Best Public Course in Canada by Links Magazine in 2015.

Cabot Cliffs was founded in July 1st, 2015, but is still not open to the Public. It will make its official opening in June 7th, 2016. This Course was designed by Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw. An incredible Course within Cape Breton, with gorgeous panoramas and rolling Fairways that put your Game into the Test of Links Golf.

Cabot Cliffs was Ranked #1 Public Course by Links Magazine in 2015.

These are definitely Golf Courses you MUST go play. These are certainly Courses in our Bucket List; it should be in yours too!

Unfortunately, if you were thinking about going this Summer… it’s too late now. Everything is already sold out! But don’t worry, just call and make sure you get a spot for their next opening.

If the images and our Word is not enough to drag you there, then you must know that the “Old Scotland Feel” these Courses and Landscape have, made Graeme McDowell feel like Home when he was there 2 Years ago.

And here are our Pros and Cons of these Courses we believe are the most significant:

Pros

1. Oceanfront Landscape

2. Links Style Courses

3. State of the Art Resort with Stylish accommodations

Cons

1. Walking only Courses (this is a deal-breaker for some Golfers)

2. Not all Year Round Availability

3. It is a 3 Hour Drive from Halifax Airport and a 2 Hour Drive from Sydney Airport.

Wondering how much it is to play at these Golf Courses? Click here to check them out.

We have had lucky Grinters that have been able to play and enjoy these Golf Courses, not many but those that have played there give these Courses 100/100 in Overall Rating! And showed that these Courses are not easy to Score… They have an Avg. Score of 92.4 (Links) and 93.6 (Cliffs).

If you are ever around this area in Canada and you want to play at some place like nothing else in the World, this is it.  Make it there and enjoy your time at Cabot Links!

The environment, the people, the views, the land, the courses, everything, takes the Player back in time making them feel like if they were in Scotland and reminding them why they Play and Love Golf.

This is how they describe their Golf Courses and we couldn’t agree more:

“Bold. Majestic. Captivating. Inspiring” Cabot Links

“Golf. Redefined. Reshaped. Reimagined” Cabot Cliffs
