Golf Hole Of The Week! (July 31st, 2014)

Do you know this Hole?

What if we say it is the Hole where the “shot in the Dark” happened?

This is the 18th Hole of the South Course of the Firestone Country Club!

Incredible Hole! Incredible history! Where Tiger won by a record making 11-shot advantage in 2000; it actually remains the largest winning margin in any World Golf Championships event.

It is a Course where the Fairways are very narrow and tough Greens. A place where there is no margin of error. This course has 7,125 yards, designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr.

The featured hole is the 18th hole, which starts with a tight tee shot down the hill and an approach from the right side of the fairway where the best angle is in order to avoid the trees fronting the left side of the green. As always, the back left pin position makes this Hole much harder and even more when you are playing on Sunday.

The WGC-Bridgestone Invitational has started and we are waiting for History to be made.
