When your friends aren’t playing, TheGrint is about you. Your progress. Your journey. Your game.
When your friends are playing, TheGrint shifts. It becomes about them. Their rounds. The moments unfolding in real time.
Home now adapts to what matters most in that moment, balancing personal progress with live, social golf.

When no one you’re connected with is playing live, Home focuses on your journey in the game.
You’ll see a set of progress bubbles, each representing a different milestone in your golf life on TheGrint. Every bubble includes a progress indicator that wraps around it, showing how close you are to reaching the next stage of that milestone.
Some bubbles may appear inactive or grayed out at first. That simply means you haven’t started making progress toward that milestone yet.
As you play more golf and log more rounds, those bubbles come to life and begin filling in.
These track your time, consistency, and dedication to the game.
These milestones reward showing up and sticking with it.
These reflect improvement in your actual play.
Each milestone progresses through rarity tiers:
Bronze → Silver → Gold → Pink
A newer golfer shooting in the 100s will typically see these wrapped in bronze. As scores come down, those wraps advance toward silver, gold, and eventually pink.
Golfers consistently playing in the 70s will see these in pink, reflecting a level of play that’s genuinely rare. Each tier is based on defined thresholds tied to the difficulty of achieving that level.

When golfers you’re connected with are playing, Home shifts automatically.
Live rounds move into focus:

For iOS users, Live Activities are now easier to access than ever. You’ll see a clear “Pin to lock screen” option so you can track a round in real time as friends come down the stretch.
It’s a simple way to stay connected without constantly opening the app.
